Degrees don't ensure good financial advice

The FSI recommendation for advisers to hold a "relevant tertiary degree" in order to raise minimum competency standards will not ensure good advice and may drive established advisers out of the system, according to Australian Institute of Company Directors chief executive John Brogden.
